St. Boniface Library to close temporarily for renovations

WINNIPEG, MB - St. Boniface Library, located at 100-131 Provencher Boulevard, will be closed temporarily starting Monday, November 26, 2012 for renovations. The library is expected to reopen in approximately four weeks.

Renovations include interior painting, adding a new service desk and making the washrooms more accessible.

During the closure:

  • Items borrowed from St. Boniface Library will not be due during the closure.
  • St. Boniface Library's book return will be closed. Library materials can be returned to any other branch of Winnipeg Public Library.
  • St. Boniface Library holds will be sent to St. Vital Library, located at 6 Fermor Avenue, during the closure.

Updates to the renovation, including the reopening date, will be posted online at winnipeg.ca/library.

The public is reminded the Library's online service of downloadable music, databases, eBooks and audiobooks is available anytime. Library users are also welcome to use the online My Account service at winnipeg.ca/library to see items checked out, review holds placed, and to renew borrowed items.
