WINNIPEG, MB - The public is advised that the City of Winnipeg's Know Your Zone winter parking ban web page at knowyourzone.winnipeg.ca is suited for portable mobile devices like iPhone and Blackberry.

When traveling and parking in unfamiliar snow zones across the city while the residential plowing operation is underway this week, the public is encouraged to use their mobile devices to check in advance by street address, which snow zones are scheduled for plowing, in order to avoid getting ticketed and towed.

Alternatively, the public can also call 311 for this information.
