Railway Crossing Closure on Waverley Street at Taylor Avenue

The public is advised that Waverley Street will be completely closed to northbound and southbound traffic at the railway crossing on Waverley Street south of Taylor Avenue starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8 for a railway crossing reconstruction project.

Railway Crossing Closure on Waverley Street at Taylor Avenue

WINNIPEG - The public is advised that Waverley Street will be completely closed to northbound and southbound traffic at the railway crossing on Waverley Street south of Taylor Avenue starting at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8 for a railway crossing reconstruction project.

Local traffic will continue to have access to Waverley Street at Taylor Avenue, and at Wilkes Avenue during the reconstruction.

Waverley Street will reopen to traffic on Monday, June 11 at 6:00 a.m.

Winnipeg Transit customers should check www.winnipegtransit.com for detailed information.

Motorists are reminded to allow additional travel time and to use alternative north / south routes such as Kenaston Boulevard and Pembina Highway.
