The new Rapid Transit service, branded as "RT," will go into full operation on Sunday, April 8, 2012. Customers can also use Transit's Navigo Trip Planner and TeleBUS to plan their travel in advance of April 8.
"This is a great opportunity for Winnipeggers to test drive the new RT before it goes into full operation on April 8," said Mayor Sam Katz.

Customers can also tour three new Transitway stations located at:
- Fort Rouge (in the Fort Rouge Yards)
- Osborne (on a new bridge over Osborne Street near Osborne Junction)
- Harkness (at Harkness and Stradbrook)
