New Registration Centre opens for Spring/Summer Leisure Guide Registration

In addition to the Southeast Registration Centre at Louis Riel Library (1168 Dakota Street), a new Central Registration Centre will be set up in the Conference Room at Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex (999 Sargent Avenue).

WINNIPEG - February 24, 2012 - In addition to the Southeast Registration Centre at Louis Riel Library (1168 Dakota Street), a new Central Registration Centre will be set up in the Conference Room at Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex (999 Sargent Avenue).

Both the Central and Southeast registration centres will have six service desks to process in-person registration. Both registration centres will operate on March 13 and March 14, 2012 only, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Please note that on March 13 and March 14 only, in-person registration will not be processed at the following locations: Main Floor, 395 Main Street; Fort Rouge Leisure Centre; and Sherbrook, Bonivital and Margaret Grant Pools.

Citizens are reminded that the registration process will have staggered start dates:

Tuesday, March 13 at 9:00 a.m.

Registration for swimming lessons only begins.

Wednesday, March 14 at 9:00 a.m.

Registration for swimming lessons continues and registration for all other programs begins.

Registration for all programs will be ongoing after these start dates. For your convenience, the City continues to offer a number of ways to register:

Visit any of the in-person registration locations

In-Person registration locations for March 13 and March 14 only

  • The Central and Southeast registration centres will be accepting in-person registration on March 13 and March 14 only, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. In-person registration on March 13 and March 14 will also be accepted at select City of Winnipeg indoor pools (check in-person registration times at the facility of your choice).
  • Please note that on March 13 and March 14 only, in-person registration will not be processed at the following locations: Main Floor, 395 Main Street; Fort Rouge Leisure Centre; and Sherbrook, Bonivital and Margaret Grant pools.
  • Queue numbers at all in-person locations will be handed out starting at 7:00 a.m. on March 13 and March 14.

Visit any City of Winnipeg indoor pool (check with facility for operating hours) or the Main Floor at 395 Main Street (9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday).

Completed registration forms can be dropped off at any of the following locations (check facility for operating hours):

  • Fort Rouge Leisure Centre - 625 Osborne Street
  • Main floor - 395 Main Street
  • St. James Civic Centre - 2055 Ness Avenue
