Due to the COVID-19 situation, all WFPS Locations are currently closed to public access. If you require emergency services, please call 911. If you require non-emergency services, please call 204-986-6380.

Please note the April Children’s Hospital Book Market has been cancelled. As such, WFPS is unable to collect book donations at this time. Please stay tuned for an update on when book donations will be accepted again.

For billing inquiries, please email and we will respond as soon as possible. Payments can be made online at, or by mailing a cheque or money order payable to Fire Paramedic Service to 510 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3B 1B9.

Residents can no longer obtain permits by attending WFPS Headquarters. Open fire and fireworks permits, as well as Licensed Service Persons applications and renewals, can be obtained by calling the Fire Prevention Branch at 204-986-8200 or by emailing

Non Emergency Transfers by Ambulance

When you need to transport someone to or from a medical facility and it's not a life-threatening situation, call 204-986-6336 to reserve an ambulance. Please book your ambulance request as far in advance as possible.

To book Inter-facility transfers (hospital to hospital) please call 204-986-8410.

Emergency and Non Emergency ambulance service is subject to fees that are approved by City Council.

All concerns will be investigated thoroughly and promptly. In order for the WFPS to conduct an investigation details must be submitted in writing to avoid misinterpretation of the events while collecting the information. Please be sure to include the incident date and location as this information is required for WFPS to identify the incident. An acknowledgement letter will be sent to you within five (5) business days of receipt. Upon completion of the investigation a letter outlining the findings of the investigation and final disposition will be sent to you.
