Residential Overnight Parking Ban ends

MEDIA RELEASE:

WINNIPEG December 14, 2006 - The Residential Overnight Parking Ban has been lifted effective 6:01a.m., Thursday, December 14, 2006.

The ban had prohibited parking between midnight and 6:00 a.m., on all streets not designated as Snow Routes.

Motorists are reminded the Snow Route Overnight Parking Ban remains in effect until March 1, 2007. This ban prohibits parking on all Snow Routes between 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Vehicles parked on Snow Routes during the prohibited times are subject to being ticketed.
