To help you stay safe on the Active Transportation Network the following information was produced in collaboration with representatives from Bike to the Future; the Manitoba Cycling Association; Manitoba Healthy Living, Youth & Seniors; Manitoba Public Insurance; and the City of Winnipeg Active Transportation group.
The links below take you to the Bike Safe section of the Manitoba Public Insurance website and provide cyclists with the information needed to ride safely on Manitoba roads and motorists with the information to recognize the cyclist’s position on the road and the potential hazards they face. Whether you are a cyclist or a motorist, you can benefit from a better understanding of our respective rights and responsibilities on the road.
