All cross country ski trails are now open.
Cross country ski trails
The Parks and Open Space Division is responsible for grooming cross-country ski trails in city parks and golf courses. The trails are groomed once a week, weather and snow conditions permitting. There are no fees associated with the use of these ski trails.
The Parks and Open Space Division believe that the city has some of the best groomed classic cross-country ski trails in the province and is quite pleased to offer this valuable outdoor winter recreation service to the residents of Winnipeg. Each season, many compliments are received regarding the ski trails and a greater interest has been shown in the sport by both the general public and students from the local school system.
Dogs not allowed on ski trails
Watch for these signs--they indicate where the trails are located and that dogs are not allowed on the ski trail, leashed or unleashed. Dog walkers can use the pathways and roads for walking their pets.
|Please do not walk on the ski trails. Skiers only on the trails. Thank you!|
