Winnipeg, MB – At 2:18 a.m. on Monday, September 15, 2025, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of a fire in a mixed-use, commercial and residential structure in the 200 block of Watt Street.
Upon arrival on scene, crews found smoke and flames coming from the building. Firefighters launched an interior fire attack, declaring the fire under control at 3:03 a.m.
All occupants of the building safely self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. Two residents were assessed by paramedics at the scene but did not require transport to hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The City of Winnipeg’s Emergency Social Services team was activated, providing temporary support for displaced residents
The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available.
