The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service (WFPS) is a people-driven organization, from the residents and patients we serve directly and indirectly, to the talented, well-trained employees who come to work every day to support Winnipeggers. Over the last few years, respectful workplace concerns have brought to light the need to improve our workplace culture so that all employees come to work feeling respected, supported, and part of a team.
In late 2020, WFPS initiated a Workplace Cultural Assessment to identify a better path forward. Part of this work involved contracting a consulting firm to conduct an extensive workplace culture survey to review our current culture and identify what kind of culture our staff would like to see.
