On August 21, at 1:23 p.m., a mail carrier was delivering mail in the Waverley Heights neighbourhood, when a resident exited their home and confronted him. Unprovoked, the man began berating the carrier which escalated when the victim was shoved to the ground and further assaulted. The 21-year-old faces charges of Assault and Mischief to Property Under $5,000 and was released on an Undertaking.
