On July 21, 2022, at approximately 11:25 p.m., a Central District General Patrol officer was searching a rear lane with his flashlight in the 300 block of Broadway (on an unrelated matter) when he was summoned over by a male sitting in the driver’s seat in a nearby parked vehicle.

The officer attended to the vehicle and observed the male driver to have a clear bag with a substance believed to be crack cocaine on his lap.
