Effective Sunday, May 7th, 2023, the hours of operation for the Service Centre in our downtown headquarters building (245 Smith Street) will change to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The change in hours are being implemented to meet the needs of the community and provide elevated customer service and add additional resources when they are needed most.
Service centres in the district stations will remain closed.
The hours for criminal record checks and fingerprinting will not change and will continue to be available to the public from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
The online reporting option will also continue for select crimes, including:
- break & enters
- property damage
- frauds
- certain thefts
- traffic complaints
- hit & runs
- lost property
For general inquiries Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (excluding holidays), please contact 204-986-6313.
As always, call 9-1-1 for in progress or immediate threats to life or property.
