Robbery with Firearm – Arrest: C22-31589

On February 14, 2022, at approximately 3:45 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a commercial robbery with a firearm at a convenience store in the 1600 block of Corydon Avenue.

A store employee reported a male and female entering the store. The male racked a handgun, pointed it at the clerk, demanded money and other items then fled on foot.

General Patrol officers from the West District, with the assistance of K9, searched the area and quickly located and took the female into custody. Police recovered the discarded firearm (BB gun) and stolen items nearby, and the male suspect was located and taken into custody.

The suspects were turned over to the Major Crimes Unit to follow-up on the investigation.

Jordan Kevin Harold MCIVOR, 19, of Winnipeg, was charged with the following offences:

- Armed Robbery using a Firearm
- Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition
- Pointing a Firearm
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order

He was detained in custody.

A 15-year-old female of Winnipeg is facing a charge of Robbery. She was released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
