A traffic stop conducted by the North District Community Support Unit resulted in the arrest of two wanted men and the seizure of cocaine, cash, and prohibited weapons.
On July 20, 2026, at approximately 9:06 a.m., North District Community Support Unit officers conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 Infiniti QX50 in the area of Main Street and McDermot Avenue.
Officers identified a 44-year-old passenger and a 33-year-old passenger, both of whom were wanted on outstanding warrants and were taken into custody.
During the arrest, officers seized approximately 2.3 ounces of crack cocaine (estimated street value: $4,300), 12 Tylenol 3 capsules, and more than $12,000 CDN currency from the 44-year-old man.
While arresting the 33-year-old man, officers seized an airsoft handgun and oleoresin capsicum (pepper spray).
Nathaniel Samson BUNN (44) has been charged with:
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Cocaine
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Warrant – Apprehension and Suspension of Parole/Statutory Release
BUNN was detained in custody.
The 33-year-old man is facing charges of:
- Possession of a Weapon
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon, Firearm Part or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x2
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
He was released on an Appearance Notice.
