On May 22, 2026, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision involving a passenger vehicle and a parked water truck on Cavalier Drive, north of Hillary Crescent.
At 12:30 p.m., West District General Patrol officers and members of the Traffic Division attended the scene where members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were extracting the driver from a 2020 Hyundai Kona.
