In April 2026, members of the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns, Gangs and Drug Enforcement Unit (GGDEU) received information regarding a dial-a-deal drug trafficking network operating in Winnipeg and believed to have ties to Western Canada.
Through their investigation, officers identified several individuals believed to be involved in the operation and linked a residence on Adsum Drive.
On April 28, 2026, GGDEU officers executed a search warrant at the residence and an associated vehicle. Yuvraj Singh SIDHU (21) of Cambridge, Ontario, was arrested without incident.
As a result of the search, officers seized significant quantities of illicit drugs and cash, including:
- 11.3 kilograms of Methamphetamine (Estimated Street Value = $80,000)
- 5.1 kilograms of Fentanyl (Estimated Street Value = $100,000)
- 1 kilogram of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value = $30,000)
- Additional packaged quantities of fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine consistent with street-level distribution
- Drug trafficking paraphernalia, including a money counter, packaging materials, and score sheets
- Over $28,000 CDN currency
Officers also located evidence indicating the drugs were being transported into Winnipeg.
SIDHU has been charged with multiple offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, including Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine), as well as Possession of Proceeds of Crime over $5,000. He was detained in custody.
On May 12, a second suspect identified as Anmol CHAUHAN (22) of Winnipeg was arrested and charged for multiple offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000. He was detained in custody.
One additional suspect has been identified, and efforts to locate and arrest him are ongoing. The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting public assistance for information regarding his whereabouts.
Jaskaran Singh (22) of Surrey, British Columbia, is wanted for multiple offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000.
