The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU) is a joint forces unit of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP. MIHRSOU today provides information regarding Curtis Leroy GEORGE, 34 years of age, a convicted sex offender considered high risk to re-offend in a sexual/violent manner against all females, both adults and children.
GEORGE was released from Milner Ridge Correctional Centre, Manitoba, after serving a sentence for sexual assault, involving an adolescent female in Thomspon, Manitoba. He was also convicted of breaching his probation order by having contact with person under the age of 16 without written approval from Probation Services. He was convicted of these offences on September 17, 2025, and received a total sentence of 540 days (includes pre-trial custody credit of 309 days) and 18 months of supervised probation.
GEORGE’s last offences were committed in Thompson, Manitoba. He is expected to reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
GEORGE has a history of violent and sexual offending. He is an untreated sexual offender and considered high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner. All females, both adults and children, are at risk of sexual violence.

GEORGE was released on February 18, 2026, after serving a sentence for a sexual assault that occurred on January 14, 2025, Thompson, Manitoba. GEORGE sexually assaulted an adolescent female by standing very close for some time and then proceeded to touch the victim in a sexual manner. George then quickly walked away but remained on scene while staring at and then following the victim as they ran to their vehicle. At the time of the sexual assault, GEORGE was also breaching his probation order by having contact with children under the age of 16 without written approval from Probation Services. On September 17, 2025, GEORGE was sentenced to a total sentence of 540 days (includes pre-trial custody credit of 309 days) and 18 months of supervised probation.

On July 25, 2011, GEORGE was convicted of sexual interference involving a 13-year-old female, and 5 counts of sexual assault committed on 5 random females who had been walking or jogging. He was also convicted of assault of a female Correctional Officer. He received a total sentence of 2 years (includes one-year pre-trial custody credit), 3 years supervised probation and a 10-year prohibition order regarding children.
On May 3, 2018, GEORGE was convicted of a single count of criminal harassment involving the victimization of an adult female. Between April 2016 and February 2018, GEORGE stalked, followed, harassed and exposed himself to the victim near her workplace and surrounding buildings. He received a total sentence of 2 years and 70 days custody (includes 70 days pre-trial custody credit), 3 years of supervised probation, and a lifetime prohibition on the possession of weapons/firearms.
On October 31, 2022, GEORGE was convicted of committing an indecent act on July 11, 2022. GEORGE’s assault record includes March 2010 convictions for 2 counts of assault involving two random adult females, and May 2017 convictions for 2 counts of assault on a female known to him. Upon release, GEORGE will be subject to two separate probation orders which expire on October 24, 2026, and August 17, 2027.
