The Winnipeg Police Service is looking for a suspect in connection with the robbery of a fast-food restaurant on Henderson Highway near Poplar Avenue, where the suspect was armed with an edged weapon.
On January 24, 2026 at 5:38 a.m., East District General Patrol officers, with the assistance of K-9, responded to a commercial robbery at a fast-food restaurant in the 200 block of Henderson Highway. The suspect, armed with an edged weapon, went behind the counter to take the till and then fled on foot. No one was injured during the robbery.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 28–30 years, approximately 5’5” with a small build. He was wearing a brown jacket with a white stripe down the arms, and dark pants, carrying a dark backpack, and appeared to have his face covered.
The Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation.
