On January 11, 2026, officers arrested two men in the Wolseley area and located several weapons, cash, drugs, drug paraphernalia, and stolen property.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., West District General Patrol officers attended to a residence in the 1-99 block of Dalhousie Drive on an unrelated matter involving a 24-year-old suspect. The suspect left prior to police arriving, and officers learned he had made concerning comments regarding his own safety and that of others, and that he may be armed with a weapon.
At approximately 3:05 p.m., officers located the suspect and a 21-year-old passenger in a vehicle in the 1–99 block of Arlington Street. Both were detained, and a search revealed the suspect was in possession of a makeshift hammer, a box cutter, two loaded air-pistol magazines, and drug paraphernalia, in breach of his release order. A search of the vehicle revealed the following:
- Loaded air pistol
- Knife
- 146 unknown pills/tablets
- 27.7 grams cocaine (Estimated Street Value $2,216)
- $385 Canadian currency
- Stolen identification
- Cell phone x 3
- Drug packaging, scales and paraphernalia
Christian Daniel CARTER (24) is facing the following charges:
- Possession of a Weapon
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 4
He was detained in custody.
