AIR1 helicopter capture a couple of suspects fleeing the scene of a commercial break-in on Henderson Highway. Turns out, the suspects were linked to several other recent commercial break and enters.

  • On September 12, 2025, around 4:30 a.m., a suspect broke into a commercial unit in the 1300 block of McPhillips Street. Once inside they broke through to an adjoining business and stole cash and packages.

  • On September 14, 2025, around 12:30 a.m., two suspects broke into a retailer in the 3600 block of Portage Avenue, stealing merchandise.

  • On October 6, 2025, around 3:35 p.m., two suspects entered the same retailer in the 3600 block of Portage Avenue, put a quantity of merchandise in a cart and pushed past security. A physical altercation occurred, and the suspects escaped the store. One of the suspects returned, armed with a hammer. They were taken into custody and held for police, while the other suspect escaped.
     
  • On October 10, 2025, around 1:15 a.m., two suspects broke into a gas bar in the 1100 block of McLeod Avenue, stealing cash and cigarettes.

  • Shortly after, around 2:00 a.m., the suspects broke into a commercial unit in the 200 block of Henderson Highway. Once inside they broke through to an adjoining business and stole packages and electronics.

Police were alerted to the break-in on Henderson, and officers from East District, the K9 Unit and AIR1 responded. AIR1 spotted the fleeing suspects and coordinated ground units in the area.

A male suspect was taken into custody on Hart Avenue, and a female suspect on Noble Street.

They were turned over to the Major Crimes Unit.

Christian Paul LYNXLEG (46) was charged with the following offences and detained in custody:

  • Break Enter & Theft – Place x 4
  • Break & Enter with Intent – Place x 2

A 42-year-old woman, is facing the following charges:

  • Break Enter & Theft – Place x 4
  • Robbery
     

She was released on an Undertaking.
