On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, the Winnipeg Police Service is partnering with KidSport Manitoba for a community barbecue fundraiser at Police Headquarters, 245 Smith St. Don’t miss lunch ($10 gets you a barbecued smokie dog, bag of chips, and a drink!), games, and the chance to win prizes — including a framed, autographed puck from NHL MVP and Vezina Trophy winner Connor Hellebuyck (#37).
But this event is about more than lunch and giveaways. It’s about opportunity.
KidSport believes no child should be left on the sidelines. Their mission is to remove financial barriers so all kids can experience the benefits of organized sport: teamwork, discipline, confidence, and connection.
