The Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a motor vehicle collision involving two people who were fatally injured. A man was located nearby and arrested on impaired driving charges.

On September 13, 2025, just before 9:30 p.m., officers from the Traffic Division attended the area of Kenaston Boulevard and Enterprise Drive where a 31-year-old-male was found deceased and a 25-year-old female was transported to hospital in critical condition, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The investigation determined that a pickup truck travelling at a high rate of speed, southbound on Kenaston Boulevard near Enterprise Drive, drove onto a shoulder striking two people. The driver failed to remain on scene and drove off. The man was located by officers a short time later where they formed grounds of impairment.

A bicycle was located nearby and police are still investigating the lead-up to the collision and asking for the public’s assistance.
