On February 5, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 1200 block of Main Street for the report of a Commercial Robbery.

North District General Patrol officers attended to the commercial business when they observed suspects, believed to be responsible for the robbery, walking in a nearby parking lot. A short foot pursuit ensued and with the assistance of the Canine Unit (K9), two suspects were taken into custody without incident. Officers located and recovered merchandise from one of the commercial businesses in the yard of a residence in the 300 block of Charles Street.

The Major Crimes Unit assumed and continued to investigate.

Investigators have learned through investigation that on February 4, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., three adult males attended to a commercial business in the 500 block of Redwood Avenue. While armed with edged weapons, the suspects physically assaulted an employee. The suspects fled after stealing approximately $150 of merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash.

On February 5, 2025, at approximately 12:15 am, the three suspects attended to a retail business in the 1200 block of Main Street. While armed with edged weapons, the suspects physically assaulted an employee. The suspects fled after stealing $60 in cash, and an undisclosed amount of store merchandise and personal property from a store employee.

The employee suffered a minor injury to their upper body and declined medical attention.

A third suspect was located and arrested without incident at a residence in the 200 block of Polson Avenue at approximately 4:15 p.m.

While officers were effecting the arrests of the three suspects, one of the suspects threatened kill one of the officers.

The suspects and victims are not previously known to one another.

Solomon Tyrese BOYLE, 19, from Winnipeg has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery x 2
  • Fail to Comply with Condition of Release Order x 4

Charlie Adam KENNEDY, 19, of Bloodvein, Manitoba has been charged with the following:

  • Robbery x 2
  • Utter Threats – Cause Death or Bodily Harm

Dominic Romero ROBINSON, 18, of Winnipeg has been charged with Robbery x 2.

All three were detained in custody.
