On November 21, 2023, the Organized Crime Unit, with the assistance of the Major Crimes Unit and the Tactical Support Team, arrested three males, seizing over $57,000 worth of drugs, $20,000 in cash and 3-D firearms after police were called to a business in the 600 block of Pembina Highway.

At approximately 6:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service was contacted regarding an altercation involving a firearm inside a pub. An initial investigation determined a male in his 20s (the victim) had stepped away from the VLT he was using for a short time. Upon returning, an argument occurred between himself and three other male patrons whom he did not know.

During this altercation, the victim was threatened with a pool cue, and one of the males pulled a firearm from his waistband. The police were contacted, and the suspects fled in a vehicle. Nobody was injured.

Police stopped the vehicle in the 800 block of Weatherdon Avenue, and the three males were taken into custody.

A search of the vehicle revealed a large quantity of drugs and two firearms:

- 2.2 kilograms of cocaine (estimated street value of $50,000)

- 1 ounce of fentanyl (estimated street value of $3,000)

- 50 Oxycontin tablets (estimated street value of $4,000)

- 12 grams of Psilocybin (estimated street value of $180)

- approximately $20,000 Canadian currency

- 2 “Glock” type 3-D printed handguns

- ammunition

21-year-old Gabriel Patrick GARAND, 19-year-old Zackary Rolfe LITTLE and 18-year-old Reece Richard RONDEAU were charged with 13 firearm and drug-related offences and detained in custody.
