Between July and September 2023, multiple break and enter to automotive businesses occurred at various locations within the city. As a result, the Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit entered into an investigation and identified the following locations:
- A business in the 600 block of Talbot Avenue – damage is valued at $400
- A business in the 2100 block of St Mary’s Road – an undetermined amount of property was stolen and damage caused
- A business in the 600 block of Talbot Avenue – property stolen and damage caused is valued at $600
- A business in the 600 block of Talbot Avenue – an undetermined amount of property stolen and damage caused
- A business in the 700 block of Pembina Highway – damage caused is valued at $1500
- A business in the 1100 block of Chevrier Boulevard – an undetermined amount of property stolen and damage caused
- A business in the 1100 block of Manahan Avenue – damage caused is valued at $500
- A business in the 500 block of Berry Street – an undetermined amount of property damage caused
- A business in the 1100 block of Chevrier Boulevard – damage caused is valued at $300
On September 25, 2023, a business in the 1300 of Plessis Road was forcibly entered, and vehicles on-site were rummaged through. East District General Patrol members, including Canine, responded and arrested the following male:
Sheldon James ST PAUL, 28, of Winnipeg, has been charged with:
- Break Enter x 10
He was detained in custody.
