During the evening of September 22, 2022, a Loss Prevention Officer at a retail store in the Polo Park area took two males into custody after it was believed they had taken merchandise, removed the security tags and attempted to return items fraudulently.
West District General Patrol officers subsequently attended and arrested both males (Agasino & Dasalla). They later located unlawfully-possessed identity documents, including an altered driver’s licence, on one suspect (Agasino) and 2.2 grams of methamphetamine (with an estimated street value of $100) on the other (Dasalla).
On September 23, 2022, at approximately 3:10 a.m., a West District General Patrol officer, aware of the arrests, observed a suspicious SUV parked near St. James and Ness Avenue.
It was determined that the vehicle was associated with one of the earlier-arrested males, and further investigation resulted in the arrest of the three occupants (Villa, Pelias & Clemente) for property-related offences with the assistance of other units.
A search of the SUV resulted in the seizure of a number of items, including the following:
- Four air pistols/handguns (“BB guns”)
- Two crossbows with arrows
- A knife
- 33 grams of methamphetamine (with an estimated street value of $600)
- A hand-written list of credit card information

A search of one suspect (Villa) resulted in the seizure of a number of items, including the following:
- 13.8 grams of methamphetamine (with an estimated street value of $300)
- Two unlawfully-possessed identity documents, including an altered driver’s licence
