In September 2022, members of the Guns & Gangs Unit began an investigation into a male suspect that was believed to have firearms and drugs in a suite of an apartment building in the first 100 block of Clayton Drive.

Investigators obtained a search warrant, which was executed the evening of September 11. A male suspect was taken into custody and found to have 42 grams of cocaine (estimated street value of $4,200) and $420 in cash. A search of the apartment suite and a related vehicle resulted in the seizure of a number of items, including the following:

- A 9mm Browning handgun with an over-capacity magazine
- A 12-gauge Winchester shotgun
- A .22 calibre GSG rifle
- A crossbow
- Three arrows for the crossbow
- A canister of bear spray
- 784 grams of methamphetamine (potential street value of $39,200)
- 340 grams of fentanyl (potential street value of $170,000)
- 28 grams of ecstasy (potential street value of $560)
- 800 grams of an unknown powder
- 740 grams of unknown pills
- $3,295 in cash
- Drug paraphernalia
- Packaging materials
- Numerous scales
- A stolen driver’s licence

Vincent Marcel Wendal Arsenault, a 40-year-old male of Winnipeg, has been charged with:

- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Ecstasy
- Produce a Scheduled Substance – Fentanyl
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Possession of an Identity Document
- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations
- Possession of a Weapon
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Knowing its Poss is Unauthorized
- Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized (x3)
- Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
- Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon Obtained by Crime
- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order (x12)
