Homicide – Public Assistance: C23-55345

March 9, 2024, marks one year since the homicide of 33-year-old Treymaine TRAVERSE. Treymaine was a member of the O-Pipon-Na-Piwin Cree Nation, South Indian Lake, Manitoba, and he resided in Winnipeg.  

On March 9, 2023, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Treymaine was discovered deceased in a residential suite of a hotel in the 600 block of Main Street.

His death was considered suspicious in nature and later deemed a homicide. The Winnipeg Police Service’s Homicide Unit continues to actively investigate and is seeking public assistance.

 

Anyone with information regarding Treymaine’s death, including people he had contact with or his whereabouts leading up to his death, may aid investigators. No information is considered too small and may bring closure to Treymaine’s family.
