Suspicious Circumstances – Investigation: C23-20604

On January 26, 2023, at 11:51 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received a report of suspicious circumstances.

A female in her 30s advised that she had been waiting for a bus in the area of Kenaston Boulevard and Academy Road about 20-25 minutes earlier when a van approached, and a male tried to pull her in. The female was not physically injured and managed to flee.

Several West District General Patrol units responded to the area but could not locate the vehicle. No description is available at this time.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
