On April 26, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a business in the 2000 block of Corydon Avenue for the report of an adult male who had been assaulted.

Attending West District General Patrol officers located a 46-year-old male victim suffering from multiple upper-body injuries sustained from an assault. He was transported to hospital in stable condition and treated for his injuries. An adult male believed to be involved in the assault fled before police arrived.
