On March 31, at approximately 8:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received information from the Grace Hospital that an adult female patient who had been airlifted from a remote northern community had left before receiving medical treatment.
Medical staff is concerned for the well-being of 42-year-old Melissa DUCK and believes her condition is potentially life-threatening.
The WPS requests the public’s assistance in locating DUCK. An image and description of DUCK is provided below.
She is described as:
- Indigenous female
- 42 years old
- Approximately 5’6” with a medium build
- long, dark-colored hair
- wearing dark clothing
