As previously released, on September 10, 2023, at approximately 6:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police Service General Patrol Units and the Tactical Support Team responded to the 200 block of College Avenue for the reports of a male who had been shot.

An adult male was located outside an apartment building suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to hospital in critical condition and succumbed to his injuries.

The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Daniel Raymond GARVEY-RODRIQUEZ.

The investigation continues by members of the Homicide Unit. Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male pictured below:
