Homicide – Public Assistance Required: C24-28849

As previously released:

On February 7, 2024, at approximately 6:20 a.m., a 19-year-old male, River HARPER, was found deceased at an apartment in the 300 block of Assiniboine Avenue.

The Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit took over the investigation, and his death was considered a homicide.  

Update:

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance to identify two individuals (suspects) in the below surveillance images.

Suspect #1
Approximately 5’6” to 5’8” tall, thin to medium build, dark moustache and beard/goatee.

Suspect #2
Approximately 5’10 to 6” tall, medium to large build, black shoulder-length hair.

Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of these individuals is asked to contact the Homicide Unit at 204-986-6508 or anonymously online at winnipegcrimestoppers.org.
