On February 18, 2024, at approximately 8:05 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a fight involving area residents located in the 600 block of College Avenue.

North District General Patrol officers attended and located a 30-year-old female victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Officers provided emergency medical care and applied a tourniquet and chest seal. She was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable condition.

The Major Crimes Unit was notified and continued to investigate.

Elaine LUNDBERG, 40, of Winnipeg, is charged with the following offences:

- Aggravated Assault

- Possession of a Weapon

She was detained in custody.
