Firearm & Drugs – Arrests: C24-24145

On February 2, 2024, at approximately 12:30 p.m., members of the Guns & Gangs Unit entered into a firearms investigation. A search warrant was executed in the 300 block of  Waterfront Drive, and two individuals were taken into custody.

As a result of this investigation, the following items were seized:

- a loaded Colt .32 handgun
- 1019 grams of Cocaine (estimated street value: $30,000)
- 109 Hydromorphone pills (estimated street value: $2,180)
- four cell phones
- drug packaging materials

- identity documents

An 18-year-old male, Ethan MCLEOD of Winnipeg, was charged with the following offences:

- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Hydromorphone
- Possess Proceeds Obtained by Crime Over $5000

A 25-year-old female, Aleah SCOTT of Winnipeg, was charged with the following offences:

- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking Hydromorphone
- Possess Proceeds Obtained by Crime Over $5000
- Identity Theft
- Identity Fraud

They were both detained in custody.
