Aggravated Assault – Investigation: C24-19251

On January 26, 2024, at approximately 3:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a residence in the 600 block of Selkirk Avenue for the report of two adults who had been stabbed.

North District General Patrol officers attended and located a 27-year-old male and 28-year-old victims, both suffering from bodily injuries sustained from a stabbing. Officers provided emergency medical care to both victims with the application of chest seals. The male victim and female victims were transported to hospital in unstable and stable condition, respectively. An adult male suspect fled before police arrived,

The Major Crimes Unit has assumed the investigation, and no arrests have been made.
