On December 30, 2023, at 3:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 200 block of Flora Avenue for the report of suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, a deceased male was located outside.  

Investigators have determined the deceased is a victim of a homicide and has been identified as 20-year-old Brooklyn Elijah HIEBERT of Winnipeg. 

The Homicide Unit is seeking any information the public may have to assist in this investigation, including any recent interactions with the deceased Brooklyn Elijah HIEBERT or video surveillance in the area.
