On December 15, 2023, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 200 block of Graham Avenue for the report of a female who had been stabbed.

Central General and Foot Patrol members quickly arrived and located a female youth victim suffering from injuries sustained from a stabbing. Officers provided emergency medical care to the victim with the application of a chest seal before ambulance arrived. She was transported to hospital in critical condition and underwent emergency surgery; however, she succumbed to her injuries. The suspect(s) fled before police arrived.

The Homicide Unit has assumed the investigation, and no arrest has been made.
