Drugs and Firearm Arrest: R23-0062521

On November 27, 2023, members of the Division 11 Community Support Unit, with the assistance of the Guns and Gangs Unit, Division 14 Community Support Unit and the Tactical Support Team, executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrant at a residence in the 500 block of Furby Street.

As a result of the investigation and search of the residence, the following was located and seized by officers:

- Loaded 9mm handgun

- Body armour – black vest

- Approximately 32 grams of Crack Cocaine - estimated street value $3200

- Nearly 54 grams of powder Cocaine - estimated street value $5400

- Approximately 213 grams of Fentanyl – estimated street value $32,000

- 1672 x 8mg Hydromorphone tablets – estimated street value $33,440

- 20 x Percocet Pills – estimated street value $400 - along with eight unknown prescription pills

- Approximately 706 grams of an unknown cutting agent

- Nearly $5400 cash - Canadian currency

Michele LANDON-GIBBINS, 27, was arrested and charged with the following: 

- Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

- Store Firearm or Restricted Weapon Contrary to Regulations

- Possess body armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit

- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000

- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x 4

- Fail to Comply with Condition of an Undertaking x 2

She was detained in custody.
