Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision: C23-283813

On November 22, 2023 at approximately 10:20 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 3100 block of Pembina Highway.

The investigation has determined that a 21-year-old male driver of a Honda Accord was travelling northbound on Pembina Highway when an adult female pedestrian was struck. The pedestrian was transported to hospital in critical condition and later pronounced deceased.

Pembina Highway near the perimeter was closed for several hours for investigative purposes. It has since been re-opened to traffic.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Divison.
