Stabbing Investigation – Arrest: C23-274774

On November 12, 2023, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to a business in the first 100 block of Osborne Street for the report of a stabbing. A 57-year-old female, a 30-year-old female and a 75-year-old male had been stabbed, and an unknown female suspect fled the scene.

The investigation has determined that the suspect had been observed acting in a suspicious manner by security. The suspect produced a knife, and an altercation occurred involving security staff. The suspect then fled the business while still armed with the knife. While running toward the exit, three customers were stabbed, causing various injuries.

All three victims were transported to hospital, treated and are in stable condition.

Officers continued the investigation and began searching the area for the suspect. At approximately 1:30 p.m., the suspect was located along the riverbank near the first 100 block of Roslyn Road.

Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued the investigation. 

A 24-year-old-female has been charged with the following:

- Aggravated Assault

- Assault Cause Bodily Harm x 2

- Assault

She was detained in custody.
