Search Warrant – Arrest: R23-56332

In October of 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns & Gangs Unit entered into an investigation into an adult female suspect involved in the trafficking of illicit drugs in the City.

On October 26, 2023, officers observed the suspect operating a passenger vehicle and conducted a traffic stop near Portage Avenue and Edmonton Street. Officers placed her under arrest without incident and located the following property within the vehicle, which was seized as evidence:

- Approximately 6 Grams Crack Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $600)

- Approximately $300 CDN Currency

- Cell phone

Later the same date, Tactical Support Team members executed a search warrant at the suspect’s residence in the 500 block of Manitoba Avenue. A search of the residence produced the following property, which was also seized as evidence:

- Approximately 73 Grams Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $7,300)

- Over 90 Tylenol 3 tablets (Estimated Street Value: $455)

- Contaminated Digital Scale

A 32-year-old female from Winnipeg is facing the following charges:

- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine

- Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

She was released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
