On October 14, 2023, at approximately 9:30 p.m., numerous police resources responded to a multi-storied parkade in the 200 block of Hargrave Street, where several people were observed pointing firearms at vehicles below. No shots were reported to have been fired.

General Patrol, Foot Patrol, the Tactical Support Team, and Air1 attended and safely took six individuals into custody.

The following weapons were located and seized by officers:

- AK47-style pellet gun

- Machete with sheath x 2

- Bear spray  

- Replica BB Co2 pistol x 2

- Air pellet gun

A 14-year-old male,15-year-old male,16-year-old female, 18-year-old male, 19-year-old female, and 19-year-old male are facing the following charges:

- Possession of a Weapon x 7

The 15-year-old male is also facing a charge of Carrying Concealed Weapon Prohibited Device or Ammunition.

The 16-year-old female was detained in custody, and the others were released on an Undertaking as mandated by the Criminal Code.
