Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision: C23-239910

On October 3, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the intersection of Rothesay Street and Gilmore Avenue for the report of a collision involving a single motor vehicle.

The victim received emergency medical attention from Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services before he was transported to hospital in critical condition. The 63-year-old male is believed to have experienced a medical event while operating his vehicle, resulting in the motor collision. The victim succumbed as a result of the event.

Two residences were struck during the collision; however, no additional injuries were reported.

No investigation is pending, and family members have been notified.
