On June 23, 2023, at approximately 2:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service and Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 400 block of Stradbrook Avenue for the report of an injured adult male located on the roadway. He was transported to hospital in critical condition, where he remains.

Information indicates that the male had previously been in a state of distress before being located. Limited information is available, and investigators are requesting the public’s assistance.

Anyone who may have had contact with or observed the male in the area during this timeframe is asked to call the police.   

The Major Crimes Unit continues the investigation. Anyone with video surveillance or information regarding any incident or events leading to the discovery of the male is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
