Firearms & Drugs – Arrest: R23-31568

In June 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service’s Guns & Gangs Unit began a firearms investigation in the Lord Selkirk Park area. 

On June 19, Guns & Gangs, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of Stella Avenue. One male was taken into custody and the following items were seized as a result of the investigation:

- Colt revolver and compatible ammunition an improvised firing device and compatible ammunition

- 2 air rifles

- drug paraphernalia

- $340 Canadian currency

David Cameron GRAY (49), of Winnipeg has been charged with firearms and drug-related offences:

-Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized

- Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 4

- Possession of a Weapon

- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000

He was detained in custody.
