Weekend Incidents

During the weekend of June 16 and June 18, 2023, the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the following noted incidents:

- C23-145738: On June 17, at approximately 5:45 a.m., officers responded to the 300 block of William Avenue for the report of a stabbing incident. The victim was robbed of his bike, stabbed and physically assaulted. The victim is in stable condition, and the Major Crimes Unit continues the investigation.

- C23-146363: On June 17, at approximately 9:25 p.m., the Winnipeg Police Service received information that a robbery occurred in the 800 block of Redwood Avenue. A delivery driver was confronted and stabbed. Attending officers assisted the victim and provided emergency first aid. The suspects fled, and no arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing by the Major Crimes Unit.

- C23-146481: On June 17, at approximately 11:50 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the area of Stadacona Street and Tweed Avenue regarding a stabbing. The victim was approached by armed suspects and assaulted. The suspects fled, and officers administered emergency first aid. Members of the Major Crimes Unit are investigating the incident.
