Fatal Fire – Investigation: C23-145724

On June 17, 2023, at approximately 5:10 a.m., the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to a fire at a residence in the 600 block of Furby Street. Three occupants were transported to hospital, two in stable condition and one in critical condition. The critical patient, an adult male, has since succumbed to his injuries, and the investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.

An autopsy is pending.
